Nelson Hardwood Lumber Co., Inc. is a family owned business that was started by Gary Nelson in 1976 with the purchase of the Lacina Sawmill in Cadott, Wisconsin. Presently, Nelson Hardwood Lumber Co., Inc. operates the Prairie du Chien and Muscoda sawmills to produce random length grade lumber in several thicknesses. In addition, railroad ties and timbers of various sizes are produced along with wood chips and mulch.
